TP4056 is a complete single cell li-ion battery with constant current / constant voltage linear charger. The SOP40 package with less heat sink under the TP4056 and fewer external components make the TP4056 ideal for portable applications. TP4056 is suitable for USB power and adapter power supplies.
Due to the internal PMOSFET architecture and anti-reverse charging path, external isolation diodes are not required.
Automatically adjusts charging current to limit chip temperature in thermal feedback, high power operation or high ambient temperature conditions. The charging voltage is fixed at 4.2 v and the charging current can be externally adjusted by a resistor. When the charging current drops to 1/10 set value after reaching the last float voltage, TP4056 will automatically terminate the charging cycle. When the input voltage (AC adapter or USB power) is removed, TP4056 automatically enters the low current state and reduces the battery leakage current less than 2ua. TP4056 can also be placed in shutdown mode when there is a power supply and reduces the feed current to 55ua.

Note:
1. The ammeter can only be connected to the 5v input end of the module.
2. It is better for the charging current to be 37% of the battery capacity. If you charge it to 1000 mAH battery, 400 current is enough.
3. The jumper should not be too thick.

5. If the input voltage is too high, like 5.2v, the current will be less than 1000mA, it is normal. This protection function automatically changes the charging current to avoid chip damage.
